In September, it is RE Caress month and Reed Elsevier employees world-wide will be rolling up their sleeves to work for charities. In September 2013, the employees of Reed Elsevier Netherlands handed in old computer equipment, among other things, via ITdonations. This raised €5,207. With the money raised, Plan realises better and more accessible preschool education for children in China.

Extra support for girls

With this, Plan also helps adolescent girls in Peru to finish secondary school. Plan works to improve the future opportunities of children in developing countries, with extra attention to girls, to ensure that boys and girls get equal opportunities. Reed Elsevier will continue to remove equipment via ITdonations in the coming years.
