Syntrus Achmea has its written-off IT hardware disposed of in a socially responsible and sustainable manner in order to recycle or encourage reuse. Syntrus Achmea is happy to donate the residual value of the old hardware to KIKA through the ITdonations Foundation. “There are few parties in the Netherlands that ensure responsible removal of hardware from our location and the associated data erasure certification. The ITdonations Foundation takes care of the entire process for us in a transparent way and we are very happy with that ”says Andre Kleimeer of Syntrus Achmea. Syntrus Achmea opts for sustainable investments. In doing so, it offers its stakeholders a healthy financial future in an attractive living environment. Financial and social returns go hand in hand. "By donating the residual value of the old hardware to KIKA, we help to eliminate cancer - certainly in children - as quickly as possible," says Andre. In addition, Syntrus Achmea contributes to a circular economy because the old equipment is reused as much as possible and, if it really cannot be otherwise, recycled in an environmentally friendly way.
