AQUON helps Plastic Soup Surfer with residual value of its old IT equipment
Aquon Wateronderzoek en advies- Bedrijf plus Plastic Soup surfer - Goede doel

Through Stichting ITdonations, AQUON donates the residual value of its old IT equipment to Plastic Soup Surfer. The sum of € 1,116.60 will go to the foundation, which campaigns in favour of the use of reusable cups and against disposable cups.

AQUON is a partner for nine water boards and district water boards in the central and southern Netherlands. AQUON's research provides insight into water quality. In doing so, it works with the water boards on healthy and sustainable water management.

Symbol of the disposable society Merijn Tinga, founder of Plastic Soup Surfer: "The disposable cup is the symbol of our disposable society: a cup, made of plastic or partly made of plastic, for one-time use. You see them lying around everywhere and polluting the environment. Surfing from Brussels to Amsterdam, I plead for re-use, for sustainable use of raw materials".

Good water, good life Dorine Janssen, ICT Service Desk employee at AQUON is very happy with Merijn's initiative and personal commitment. "With our water quality research, we contribute to a healthy habitat for flora and fauna. In doing so, we clearly see the impact of disposable plastic on our water. The mission of the Plastic Soup Surfer therefore perfectly matches its own motto: good water is good life".
