Bergen municipal authority helps to restore the dune area

The Mayor handed a cheque for €4,287 to Staatsbosbeheer, the Dutch national nature management agency, for the restoration of the dune area. This money was raised through a donation of the residual value of ICT equipment that had been written off. The ITdonations Foundation collected, cleaned and processed the equipment.

With these funds, Staatsbosbeheer can restore a large part of the dunes in Bergen municipality and is enthusiastic about the ITdonations working method.
