Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions donates € 3,127.25 to KWF Kankerbestrijding

Nieuwegein, October 17, 2023 - Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions has handed over a check worth €3,127.25 to Sanne Ydema of KWF Kankerbestrijding. The contribution comes from the proceeds of IT equipment donated by Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions.

Hiddo Hilboezen, General Manager of Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions Benelux, presented the check to Sanne Ydema of KWF Cancer Research. "We are pleased that with this donation we can contribute to research and care for cancer patients," said Hilboezen. "Cancer is a disease that has a huge impact on people's lives. That's why we find it important to work towards a solution."

Equipment gets a second life
The equipment that Toshiba Global Commerce donates is reused or recycled through the ITdonations Foundation. This gives the equipment a second life and a valuable residual value. "ITdonations is happy that companies like Toshiba Global Commerce are committed to a good cause," said Sandra Mulder of ITdonations.

Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions chose to make the donation to KWF Cancer Research because the company is committed to research and care for cancer patients. KWF Cancer Research is one of the largest independent cancer funds in the Netherlands. The fund is committed to preventing, curing, and alleviating cancer.
